Peak Periodontics & Implants is looking for someone with the right mix of a good attitude and experience to join our amazing team. We are a private practice periodontal office in north central Reno, NV. We are growing quickly but focus on detail-oriented and patient-specific care. We pride ourselves on team collaboration and strong communication. Our goal is to support the smiles that support our patients!


Do you have a passion for driving efficiency, building culture, managing teams, and fostering growth? We are looking for an operations manager to join our growing team!


Responsibilities:

-Ensure ongoing practice compliance with state and local regulations such as HIPAA, OSHA, etc.


-Manage team members and personnel-HR, onboarding, compliance, training, CPR, employee files, payroll, PTO, and benefits, CE requirement, licensure requirements, etc.


-Optimize the clinical and non-clinical schedules including time off requests, scheduling temporary hygiene employees, helping to organize team events, working with our marketing strategist to schedule CE and speaking events and Lunch and Learns with referring offices.


-Strategizing for growth and improvement opportunities.


-Work with team members to oversee ordering budget


-Drive daily growth and schedule optimization by working with Dr. A and consulting group to review practice numbers.


-To a lesser extent, may need to be patient facing from time to time presenting treatment plans. Other office responsibilities as needed include answering the phone, scheduling patients, checking daily referrals and shared email inboxes, communicating with referring offices about patient care and patient treatment coordination.


Requirements:

-Strong verbal and written communication skills.


-Professional and friendly demeanor at all times when dealing with employees and patients


-A background in human resources, team management, project management or similar field of work is preferred.


-Understanding of basic human resources. We are open to invest in additional training as necessary.


-Ability to strategize and time manage


-Knowledge of compliance regulations with HIPAA, OSHA, dental board and licensure requirements needed for office and individual employees.


-Sustained positivity and ability to motivate others.


-Creative and proactive mindset towards taking on challenges and exploring new avenues for practice growth.


-Experience in the dental field is NOT required. I am looking for someone who has the right attitude and ability to join a high-functioning team. We are willing to invest in the proper dental training, as needed.


-Valid driver's license and operational vehicle


-Legally allowed to work in US.
