Operations Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, manage teams, and ensure seamless execution of sales, inventory control, customer service, and administrative tasks. Duties Lead and supervise retail staff, including assistant managers and sales teams, to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and product placement to maximize sales potential Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to optimize sales transactions and cash handling procedures Coordinate employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and motivated team Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial record-keeping with accuracy and attention to detail Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and boost sales in the store Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and operational procedures while supervising shift management and cash handling Requirements Proven management experience in retail or related industries with supervisory responsibilities in sales teams or store operations Strong skills in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control tools, merchandising techniques, and retail math principles Excellent communication skills—both managerial and interpersonal—with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities such as budgeting, scheduling, stock management, and customer service simultaneously Experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is a plus but not required; a background in retail management is essential Basic math proficiency for cash handling, pricing adjustments, sales calculations, and inventory tracking Knowledge of phone etiquette, customer service best practices, and store product knowledge is important for success in this role Join us as an Operations Manager if you’re passionate about leading teams to deliver outstanding retail experiences!
