Operations Manager

Job Summary As an Operations Manager, you’ll keep retail operations moving smoothly while helping your team deliver a strong customer experience. You’ll oversee store management, sales, staffing, inventory, and daily processes, using clear communication and sound judgment to keep priorities on track. Your impact: By coordinating people, products, and store operations, you help employees serve customers efficiently and keep the business organized. Responsibilities Lead and supervise teams, manage shifts, and support employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training and development. Oversee retail sales and sales management, customer service, cashiering, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Manage inventory control, stocking, merchandising, purchasing, pricing, and product knowledge. Support payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, basic math, and retail math; maintain accurate operational records. Resolve customer and team concerns with professional negotiation, phone etiquette, and managerial communication. Skills Essential: Leadership, management, team management, operations management, operational management, retail management, store management, organizational skills, time management, and communication skills. Essential: Inventory management, inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, customer service, sales, and pricing. Preferred: Supervising experience, assistant manager experience, retail industry sales team management experience, sales management, retail sales, wireless sales, or grocery store experience. Preferred: Purchasing, payroll, bookkeeping, cashiering, merchandising, stocking, budgeting, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training and development experience. Multilingual or bilingual abilities and retail store product knowledge are valued; basic math skills are needed.
