  Job Description   IHI Power Services Corp. (IPSC) has a career opportunity for an Operation and Maintenance Manager located at the Troy Energy Plant in Luckey, OH. The salary range for this position is $130K - $160K annualized, based on experience.   Job Summary   The person holding this position is responsible to provide leadership for the safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation of a simple cycle power plant consisting of four GE 7FA dual-fuel combustion turbines.  This position provides leadership and oversight for plant operations, maintenance, NERC compliance, safety programs, and environmental compliance under the general direction of the Plant Manager.   Job Functions    Champion a strong safety culture with zero-incident mindset while ensuring that safety procedures are followed, developed, and reviewed as needed. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Lead and manage all operations and maintenance activities for four GE 7FA combustion turbines and associated balance-of-plant systems. Manage the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for plant electrical and mechanical systems. Ensure system reliability through root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM). Oversee outage planning, execution, and contractor management. Optimize plant performance including reliability, availability, and heat rate. Ensure effective spare parts inventory management. Serve as the site lead for NERC Reliability Standards compliance. Ensure adherence to applicable NERC standards, overseeing compliance documentation, procedures, audits, and self-certifications. Coordinate troubleshooting and optimization of turbine control systems. Ensure all staff is skilled and performing at the required level ensuring an effective and motivated team. Contribute to the development and periodic updates of operations and maintenance procedures. Oversee employee training and qualification programs. Responsive to plant emergencies and to non-routine plant operating situations, with the ability to make prompt and appropriate decisions. Assist with the development of outage schedules, including detailed task descriptions, required resources and manpower, estimates, and task assignments. Assist in the development of plant budgets with input relative to functional needs and plant improvements that are needed.   Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.   Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred. Equivalent technical experience considered. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in power plant operations and maintenance required. Proven managerial or supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience with NERC compliance programs.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - which may be representative, but not all-inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.   Extensive knowledge of gas turbine technologies preferred. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Budgeting and financial acumen. Knowledge of GE Mark VIe or similar DCS Familiarity with emissions control systems and CEMS Detailed knowledge of all aspects of power plant safety. Proficiency in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.   Work Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.   Protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection and other equipment must be worn in the performance of some duties. Work with hazardous materials may be required.
