Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics, warehouse operations, inventory, scheduling, and operational support for Sterling Spaces’ venues and events. This position ensures that events are properly staffed, supplied, scheduled, and supported while maintaining efficient communication between the Operations, Venue, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Warehouse teams. Key Responsibilities · Manage and maintain inventory software Rentman, event schedules, equipment assignments, deliveries, pickups, and operational tasks. · Coordinate all event logistics and delivery schedules, ensuring equipment, supplies, linens, and other items arrive at the correct venue and on time. · Manage and supervise depot/warehouse staff, including daily assignments, scheduling, training, and accountability. · Ensure warehouse staff receive accurate pull and delivery logs for each event based on Rentman and BEOs. · Organize and maintain linen, CFG, equipment, and operational inventory. · Delegate and oversee routine warehouse inventory checks and ensure discrepancies are addressed. · Coordinate weekly supply orders and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are maintained at all venues. · Maintain professional relationships with vendors, including coordinating orders, deliveries, services, and resolving issues. · Coordinate event security & cleaning scheduling based on event requirements. · Attend weekly Operations and BEO meetings and communicate operational needs and changes to the appropriate teams. · Review BEOs and upcoming events to identify equipment, staffing, delivery, security, and other operational needs. · Coordinate operational schedules across Sterling Spaces’ venues and assist in resolving scheduling or logistical conflicts. · Develop and maintain organized, efficient processes for warehouse, delivery, inventory, and event operations. · Facilitate weekly checks of each venue to ensure they are fully stocked with supplies and deliveries needed for weekly events. · Work closely with the Director of Operations, Venue Coordinators, Food & Beverage Manager, Event Leads, and other department leaders to ensure successful event execution. Qualifications · Previous experience in event operations, logistics, warehouse management, hospitality, or a related field preferred. · Strong organizational and time-management skills. · Excellent communication and leadership abilities. · Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously. · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. · Experience with Rentman or similar scheduling/inventory software preferred. · Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
