Operations & Logistics Coordinator

The role You’ll keep our orders moving. This is a hands-on role that combines shipping and packing with purchasing and supplier relations. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key part in making sure every order arrives safely and on time. What you’ll do Shipping and logistics Pack, repack and ship orders, including hazardous materials, dry ice and temperature-sensitive shipments with ice packs Prepare shipments and labels using our shipping software Coordinate with DHL, FedEx and UPS to make sure every shipment is picked up and delivered on time Track shipments and resolve delays before they become problems Keep our Client Account Specialist updated on delivery ETAs so clients are always informed Make occasional drop-offs at FedEx or other warehouses Purchasing and suppliers Build and maintain relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers Request and compare quotes to get the best price and terms Prepare and approve purchase orders within company guidelines Follow up with suppliers on open orders and delivery dates What we’re looking for Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Organized, detail-oriented and reliable; when it comes to hazmat, details matter Clear, professional communication with suppliers, carriers and coworkers Valid driver’s license and can be mobile on the job Able to lift up to [50] lbs and be on your feet for parts of the day Legally authorized to work in the United States Nice to have Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or packing work Experience with shipping software (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, DHL, etc.) Spanish language skills What we offer Dangerous goods (DG) certification course, paid for by the company Hands-on training directly from leadership Weekday schedule, with paid overtime available when needed Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving Room to grow as we expand our business Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Ability to Commute: Doral, FL 33178 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
