Skills you bring to the role:
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, business, or related will be considered.
•    Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on composite manufacturing and supplier management preferred.
•    High proficiency in project management, including milestone tracking, risk management, and proposal development.
•    Experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or supplier management related projects.
•    Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
•    Familiarity with systems such as SAP, PPM, Enovia, and CAMS for tracking parts and products.
•    Knowledge of Technical Data Packages, First Article Inspection, and Engineering Change Requests.
•    Ability to lead in a dynamic environment and coordinate across multiple teams, including suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
•    Excellent communication skills to interface with all levels of management, customers, and suppliers.

Operations Lead - Special Mission Aircraft
Bell is seeking an Operations Manager for the Special Mission Aircraft (SMA) Program. With a focus on 609 parts manufacturing and aircraft deliveries, this role acts as the primary point of contact between the Bell SMA Program, Bell Integrated Operations, and suppliers/vendors. In addition, the role will support SMA coordination of delivery to USG and foreign military partners for missionized commercial aircraft.
What you will be doing as a Operations Lead - Special Mission Aircraft (SMA):


Manufacturing Leadership:
•    Oversee 609 parts manufacturing, including composite manufacturing processes, supplier management, and tooling resources.
•    Manage supplier corrective actions, purchase orders, and communication of priorities to ensure quality and timely delivery.
•    Coordinate manpower and tooling resources through production support and RSC/ACC/ROC leadership.
Project Management:
•    Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master schedules, utilizing risk management tools to identify program problems and develop solutions.
•    Ensure on-schedule delivery of products to MRP/contract requirements while meeting quality standards.
•    Organize and coordinate proposal development for FMS and DCS opportunities, including negotiation of deliverables and scope of work.
Technical and Operational Coordination:
•    Provide leadership for operations activities related to Technical Data Packages, First Article Inspection, Outside Manufacturing Tooling Requests (MTR), Tooling Methodology, Engineering Change Requests, and Supplier Issues.
•    Closely monitor execution progress and perform technical, operational, and business coordination with Program and Center of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure successful integration.
Aircraft Deliveries:
•    Manage aircraft delivery schedules, quality standards, and FAA conformity activities.
•    Regularly communicate program status to SMA customers, including USG, FAA, and international organizations.
