You will analyze information, troubleshoot essential systems, identify process improvements, maintain accurate inventory across departments, support production reporting, and assist customers. Duties Serve as the primary troubleshooter for eLIMBS and Vision Tally by identifying and resolving system issues, correcting discrepancies, and improving data accuracy. Verify block tally accuracy and consistency, including weekly block tally checks after completing the required training. Perform periodic inventory reviews to identify errors or delays, such as green lumber remaining in inventory or KDOS remaining on orders for extended periods. Report discrepancies to the Director of Special Projects. Conduct quarterly physical inventories of kiln-dried lumber. Complete weekly green yard inventory checks to maintain accuracy and visibility. Develop and implement an inbound receiving system with checks and balances to verify incoming materials and services, including custom steaming and drying. Generate weekly dryline run reports to evaluate performance and improve visibility into dryline operations. Improve operational visibility by giving sales teams real-time insight into completed lumber orders. Collaborate with the Director of Special Projects to develop a stick line production report. After completing the required training, assist with the Rough Mill and Mulch yield report. Support optimization of green and kiln-dried lumber loads, including outbound-load weight optimization. Assist with internal KFP logistics coordination for lumber hauling. Serve as backup mulch van/trailer loader as needed. Assist walk-in customers and drivers with mulch, lumber, container trucks, by-products, and over-the-counter cash sales. Answer incoming calls and assist with general inquiries. Provide scheduled Welcomeware support for walk-in customers at the Muscatine location. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across inventory tracking, reporting, and logistics. Support special projects assigned by the Director of Special Projects. Communicate PTO requests and scheduling information to the Administrative Support Leader. Perform other duties as assigned.
