No prior consulting experience needed! Location & Travel This is a full-time remote consulting position with regular travel to client sites. Because our work is hands-on, Consultants spend significant time on-site working directly with client teams and their operations. Travel varies by engagement and may reach up to 75% , primarily domestic with some international travel. Employees may reside anywhere in the United States with reliable access to a major airport. Position Summary If you've spent the first several years of your career solving operational problems within manufacturing or supply chain and are looking for broader exposure, TriVista offers the opportunity to apply that experience across different companies, industries, and operational challenges. Our Operations Improvement Consultants work primarily with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to identify what's limiting performance and help management teams make meaningful, measurable improvements. The work is hands-on and can span the full value chain, from the plant floor to planning and supply chain to broader business performance. We're open to candidates coming directly from industry as well as those with prior consulting experience. What You'll Work On No two engagements look exactly the same! Depending on the client and project, you may work on: Manufacturing and plant performance improvement Continuous improvement and Lean initiatives Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Demand, supply, production, and inventory planning Sourcing and procurement Distribution and transportation Network and capacity optimization Product rationalization and profitability improvement Operational and financial performance improvement Pre-sale operational due diligence Post-merger integration You'll work directly with client teams to understand how their operations are performing, analyze data, identify root causes and opportunities, develop practical recommendations, and help translate those recommendations into action. What You'll Do Support consulting engagements for private equity firms and portfolio companies across a variety of industries Work directly with operators, functional leaders, executives, and PE stakeholders to understand operational challenges Analyze operational and financial data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities Evaluate processes on the plant floor and across the broader supply chain Develop practical recommendations grounded in data and operational realities Build clear, executive-ready analyses, presentations, and client deliverables Support implementation of operational improvement initiatives Contribute to internal research, tools, training materials, and business development efforts Who We're Looking For We're particularly interested in people who have built hands-on experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, or continuous improvement and enjoy solving problems that don't always have an obvious answer. You may currently work in continuous improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing/industrial engineering, operations, supply chain, production planning, materials planning, S&OP/SIOP, or a related field.
