Operations Generalist
American Gastro HealthTHE ROLE The seat that absorbs what the six functions do not own. Vendor and contract administration across the Management Service Organization (MSO), project coordination on the build-out plan itself, and the process documentation that stops a nine-entity organization running on memory. Not practice-facing. This one keeps the MSO itself running. WHAT THIS ROLE OWNS Vendor and contract administration across every function — accounting platform, payroll, managed services, clearinghouse, IT, cyber, insurance The renewal calendar and notice dates, so nothing auto-renews because nobody was watching Project coordination on the build-out plan: weekly status, dependencies, dates that are slipping Process and policy documentation for the MSO — how the MSO does a thing, not how a practice does Procurement: three quotes, the comparison, the written recommendation The requests that arrive with no owner, triaged to whoever should have them THE FIRST NINETY DAYS Build one contract register across all nine entities and every MSO vendor, with renewal and notice dates Take build-out plan status off the Executive Director and run it as a standing weekly Document the approval and signature thresholds, and check they are actually followed Pick up the cyber and managed-services quotes, currently budgeted below published list REQUIRED Four or more years in business operations, vendor management or program coordination Has administered real contracts — renewals, notice periods, scope changes, not just filing Can run a project plan and chase people more senior without being resented for it Writes clearly. Half this job is turning a decision into a document others can follow Comfortable with no template and no precedent — most of this has never been done here PREFERRED Healthcare, multi-entity or professional-services environment Procurement or sourcing experience Has worked in a business that was being built rather than one that was already running Bilingual English and Spanish Join us as our Practice Operations Manager if you’re passionate about leading healthcare teams toward operational excellence while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives!
