Operations & Fulfillment Manager

8-4:30 Monday thru Friday About the Position The Tool Kit People is looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive Operations & Fulfillment Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, tool kit assembly, and order fulfillment. We are a small, growing company that builds and supplies professional tool kits, tool cases, replacement parts, and equipment for field service technicians across the country and internationally. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking initiative, and working alongside a small team to get the job done. What You’ll Do Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Oversee daily warehouse operations and workflow Coordinate picking, packing, assembly, and shipping of customer orders Prioritize orders based on deadlines, inventory availability, and customer needs Ensure orders are completed accurately and shipped on time Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse Participate in daily warehouse and assembly tasks as needed Inventory & Production Management Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records Coordinate receiving, stocking, and organization of incoming materials Identify inventory shortages and communicate purchasing needs Manage assembly schedules and production priorities Track work in progress and help ensure materials are available for upcoming orders Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and process improvements Team & Process Coordination Provide daily direction and support to warehouse team members Organize workloads and adjust priorities as needed Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and workflow Help establish and maintain consistent warehouse procedures Communicate order status, challenges, and operational needs to company leadership Take ownership of daily operations and help keep projects moving forward What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Dependable, punctual, and accountable Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative Confident working independently and making day-to-day decisions Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on Able to communicate clearly and professionally Comfortable learning and using inventory and order management software Willing to pitch in wherever needed Preferred Experience Previous warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, or operations experience Experience coordinating daily workflows or supervising a small team Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory management Experience using inventory or order management software Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new systems Experience with Shopify, Katana, or similar inventory and order management platforms is a plus, but not required. We’re more interested in finding the right person with strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a willingness to take ownership than someone with a specific job title or background.
