Operations & Fulfillment Lead

Labs use the marketplace to search, request, and order reagents, consumables, and equipment from a vetted supplier network, with fulfillment designed to get critical materials to the bench reliably and intact. As the Operations & Fulfillment Lead at Labscoop, you will be responsible for leading our fulfillment and facility operations. This is a hands-on leadership role across facility operations, inventory, assembly, order fulfillment, cold and cryogenic handling, quality control, and facility safety and regulatory compliance. The role: You will own day-to-day fulfillment operations end to end. You will run the facility, manage the fulfillment team, inventory, and all outbound process, and you will be accountable for accuracy, condition on arrival, and on-time performance, including temperature-controlled and cryogenic product. You will also be responsible for keeping the facility in line with applicable safety and regulatory requirements. You will work across operations, quality, and customer-facing teams. Life-science wet-lab bench experience is a plus, not a requirement. The core of the job is running fulfillment related operations that our lab customers and partners can trust. Responsibilities: Full operational ownership of fulfillment: receiving, storage, kitting and assembly, pick and pack, shipping, and exception handling Facility management for the Little Rock fulfillment operation, including layout, capacity, equipment uptime, safety, and daily floor standards Compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements in the facility, including hazard handling, storage conditions, documentation, training, and readiness for inspection or audit Inventory management: location control, cycle counts, lot and expiration tracking, replenishment, and shrinkage Cold-chain and cryogenic fulfillment: proper storage, packing, temperature monitoring, and documentation for refrigerated, frozen, and cryo materials Assembly and kitting of multi-component orders to specification, with clear work instructions and traceability Quality control at receiving and before shipment, including holds, nonconformance, and corrective action with the quality process Standard operating procedures, training, and a floor culture that is accurate under volume Coordination with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams so orders leave complete, correctly conditioned, and on time Operational metrics: fill rate, accuracy, cycle time, temperature excursions, and inventory integrity, with a plan to improve them Basic Qualifications: Several years of experience handling fulfillment, or distribution operations with highly temperature-sensitive and/or regulated products Direct experience with inventory systems, lot control, and cycle counting Hands-on experience with cold-chain or cryogenic handling, or a clear record of learning controlled-environment processes quickly A working knowledge of facility safety requirements and the discipline to keep people, product, and documentation in compliance Comfort writing and enforcing SOPs, training a small team, and being on the floor when something is wrong Strong judgment on quality holds: knowing when to ship and when to stop Clear written and verbal communication with operations, quality, and commercial partners Preferred Life-science wet-lab bench experience (academic, biotech, clinical, or industrial lab) Familiarity with reagents, consumables, or lab equipment, and with how labs actually use them Experience in a cGMP, ISO, GDP, or similar quality environment Experience standing up or scaling a small fulfillment operation rather than only running a mature one Hold training certifications for hazardous materials, cryogenic systems, etc. How we work This role is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is on-site.
