Are You Ready to Turn Plant Data into Financial Clarity? Do you get energized by solving puzzles like “Why did material usage spike yesterday?” or “What’s driving this week’s expense variance?” In this role, you’ll translate what’s happening on the floor into accurate, actionable financial reporting—partnering directly with the Controller in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. What Success Looks Like You reliably support month-end activities—preparation, analysis, and final reporting. Your internal business unit reports are timely and insightful, covering: Daily shipment and product sales reviews. Daily inventory movement checks. Weekly and monthly expense reporting. Tracking for capital and major repair projects. Ad hoc reports with clear variance analysis. Daily production number collection and reporting. Daily material usage collection. Payroll preparation runs smoothly under your oversight. Your Toolkit Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area. Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Organized, collaborative communicator with strong attention to detail. Grounding in accounting principles and internal controls. Uncompromising integrity and confidentiality. Experience That Elevates You 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting; manufacturing background preferred. Familiarity with SAP or comparable systems. Budget development, projections, and variance analysis experience. GL and journal entry preparation; close cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual). Hourly payroll report preparation and calculations; understanding of payroll rules and guidelines. Imagine This You notice daily inventory movements don’t align with production output. You dig into material usage, collaborate with operations, produce a concise variance analysis, and brief the Controller with recommended corrective actions—before month-end. That’s the standard here.
