Operations & Dispatch overnight
Confluent Ltd. Co.About the Role NWA Courier provides time-sensitive and medical-critical delivery services to hospitals, labs, and essential service providers across our community. When things go wrong or happen after hours, our clients expect calm, fast, and reliable action. We are looking for an Operations & Dispatch Lead —someone who can own coverage , keep drivers accountable, and make sure critical jobs are handled without escalation. This is a hands-on role for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do and isn’t afraid to answer the phone when it matters. What You’ll Be Responsible For Owning day-to-day dispatch and driver coverage Ensuring after-hours and emergency jobs are covered reliably Communicating clearly with drivers and clients during high-priority situations Troubleshooting issues in real time and keeping jobs moving forward Holding drivers accountable to availability and response expectations Improving dispatch processes so problems don’t repeat If a critical job is at risk, you step in and solve it —not by passing it up the chain, but by handling it. Who This Role Is For This role is a strong fit if you: Stay calm under pressure Are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information Can talk to drivers and clients confidently and professionally Understand that availability and responsiveness matter Prefer doing the work over talking about the work You don’t need a corporate background. You do need judgment, reliability, and follow-through. Who This Role Is NOT For This role is not a fit if you: Avoid answering phones after hours Prefer strategy discussions over execution Are uncomfortable holding people accountable Growth Opportunity This role has a clear path to Operations Manager and General Manager for the right person. Growth is earned through reliability, ownership, and results—not tenure. As the business stabilizes and grows, this role grows with it. Basic Requirements Strong communication skills (phone, text, email) Comfort with dispatch systems, GPS, or logistics tools Ability to prioritize quickly and stay organized Willingness to be available when critical coverage is needed Professional, calm demeanor under pressure Logistics, courier, medical transport, dispatch, or operations experience is a plus—but not required.
