Operations Coordinator (Dispatcher)

We’re a nationwide carrier specializing in hauling cryogenic materials . We’re looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Deer Park, TX. This is a non-managerial position reporting to the Director of Operations, but you’ll play a vital role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and efficient across multiple locations. What you’ll do: Coordinate and dispatch OTR drivers across multiple locations Communicate daily with drivers and customers to ensure freight moves on time Make sound, independent decisions when urgent or unexpected issues arise Maintain driver payroll spreadsheets and operational records Support strong driver relationships while ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations Answer after-hours calls on a rotating basis Assist operations leadership with projects and initiatives as needed What we’re looking for (must-haves): 2+ years of experience in OTR transportation operations (required) 2+ years of experience with FMCSA regulations (required) Prior experience in specialized hauling (cryogenics or similar) is strongly preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills — able to stay calm under pressure and work well with drivers Ability to work on-site at our Deer Park, TX location (required) What we offer: Starting pay from $50,000 per year Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Flexible spending account Paid time off Life insurance This role is about more than moving freight — it’s about supporting our drivers and customers in one of the most specialized and safety-critical areas of transportation.
