Location: NEW SITE - Nova Scotia (Dartmouth)


Hiring Range: $21.00 / hour - $24.00 / hour dependent on background and experience

We are searching for an Operations Coordinator


About the Role:

As the Operations Coordinator at Friendlier, you will work in a variety of functional roles including customer support, Operator and in logistics. The role is hands on and is designed to be flexible in order to partner with leadership in getting the new facility up and running. The role requires the ability to work as an Operator, Driver, and people leader. This position evolves into an Operations Lead when the site is up and running.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as Operator primarily in early days with the intent of hiring Operations team to partner with them


Operations:

  • Prior to facility being set up, the Coordinator will do pickups and drop offs of product, pack and send products, and some washing
  • Assist in the day to day management and set up of the new location. This could include testing equipment, running equipment and connecting with vendors, contractors and customers as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of KPI’s and reporting metrics. 
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product complaints. 
  • Communicating new customers to the team and setting up within Friendlier systems.


Warehouse & Logistics: 

  • Early expansion days, this role may act as Driver 
  • Pick and pack and delivery of product to designated customers, when Driver is unavailable or when volumes require additional resources.
  • Facilitate weekly shipments to and from processing facilities  


Leadership

  • Conduct interviews with potential team members
  • Train and onboard new team members as budgets allow


Other Duties as Assigned: 

  • Projects as they arise in relation to the successful set up of the new site
  • Assisting in implementing Company standards and systems.
    • Packaging
    • Quality control
    • Inventory
  • Some boothing on customer sites to support the Customer Success team


What you Bring: 

  • Post Secondary Diploma
  • Experience in customer success, or sales with a strong customer service approach
  • Experience in an operations or processing environment 
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving positive environmental impact.
  • Ability to travel as needed and work effectively in a remote environment.
