Savannah College of Art and Design502619 Savannah, Georgia, United States Office of Mental Health Student Services Full-time Staff As an operations coordinator, you will help implement a range of confidential services provided by the office of mental health to help students navigate challenges and thrive. These services include individual and group counseling, skill-building workshops, and outreach programs. To support the office of mental health, you’ll: Maintain a welcoming, professional, and confidential environment Conduct initial student contact screenings to assess immediate needs and risk level Facilitate urgent clinical interventions, appropriate referrals, scheduling, and intake support Provide empathetic, direct support to students in distress, under the direction of licensed clinical counselors As an operations coordinator, you’ll: Provide high-level administrative support Participate in clinical staff meetings, crisis debriefs, and case coordination sessions Maintain complete, confidential records in Titanium, shared drives, Guardian, and departmental databases Manage student conduct-related emails, documentation, and office communications in compliance with records retention protocols For finances, budgets, and logistics, you’ll: Maintain the department’s budget database, track line-item expenses, manage petty cash, and generate regular financial reports Process staff travel logistics, reimbursements, and financial paperwork via MySCAD Oversee inventory management, routine purchasing, printing requests, and supply orders for general operations and special events Coordinate building work orders, vendor services, and office equipment maintenance Additionally, you’ll: Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to student employees to ensure seamless office coverage and reception support Plan, schedule, and implement department outreach, in-services, training sessions, and special events Maintain comprehensive records of program functions, event timelines, contact directories, and official outreach metrics Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, counseling, psychology, or a related field At least one year of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred qualifications: Experience in higher education Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
