Position Summary

HB is seeking an Operations Associate to become a member of our team. This position serves as a support liaison between our client-facing team and back-end systems to execute our clients’ wealth management plans and help them achieve their goals. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, submitting, and verifying completion of requests pertaining to new accounts and account maintenance
  • Internal reporting system setup, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure accurate reporting for financial planners and clients (minimal direct client interaction)
  • Assisting team on quarterly reporting and billing tasks
  • Pulling data from internal or custodian systems as needed
  • Maintaining database attributes for portfolios, reporting entities and investments
  • Completion of projects, as needed, to ensure the continued quality and expediency of data being entered into the portfolio accounting system
  • Providing backup to other Operations Associates within the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business-related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the industry
  • The preferred candidate will have worked in a banking or finance environment
  • Experience with Black Diamond reporting software preferred but not required
  • MS office, Outlook and MS teams experience
  • Superior verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • High level of attention to detail, self-motivation, drive, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities as markets change and as the organization grows
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required
