Who we are Empower Sleep is a virtual sleep clinic on a mission to extend healthspan through better sleep. Sleep is the foundation of our health, and we want quality sleep care to be accessible to everyone. We support patients through the full care journey: at-home sleep testing, diagnosis with board-certified sleep physicians, treatment like CPAP and CBT-I, and ongoing care. Patients get care without the months-long waits and runaround of traditional sleep clinics. We’ve had the honor of caring for more than 4,000 patients across all 50 states, treating everything from sleep apnea and insomnia to circadian rhythm disorders. Our care team includes sleep physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, sleep technologists, and respiratory therapists. About the role We’re hiring a part-time Operations Associate on site in Irvine, CA to help keep the day-to-day running smoothly. You’ll handle much of the behind-the-scenes work that gets patients their devices, supplies, and care on time. This role starts part-time and can grow into a full-time position as we grow. You’ll start by learning how we do things, and as you get comfortable, we’ll want your ideas on how to do them better. Students and recent grads interested in healthcare or operations are encouraged to apply. What you’ll do Shipping and fulfillment. Pack and ship sleep tests, CPAP equipment, and supplies to patients, track packages, and process returns. Inventory. Keep device and supply counts up to date and flag when we’re running low. Process documentation and improvement. Learn our workflows, write them down clearly, and suggest ways to make them faster, simpler, or less error-prone. Projects as they come up. Vendor research, partner outreach, event prep, and other work that helps the business move. Sleep well. Encourage yourself and others to get good sleep and live a healthy, happy life :) You’re a great fit if you Are a quick learner who’s curious about healthcare, sleep, and how operations work. Ask questions when you’re unsure how to proceed, rather than guessing. Look for better ways to do things. Once you’ve learned a process, you notice what slows it down and suggest a fix. Are organized and detail-oriented. You double-check the address before the label prints. Have experience with digital tools, especially Shopify and Monday.com. We also use Asana, Slack, and more. Take privacy seriously. You’ll handle sensitive patient health information and complete HIPAA training.
