Operations Agent

Aero Pacific Express is a trucking and logistics company strategically located in the YVR Airport Cargo area. We are continuously growing and are looking to immediately add to our team. If you are an Operations Agent that does not mind “getting your hands dirty”, wants to be a pivotal part of a team and is looking for a new challenge, this opportunity is for you. Job Duties: * Manage paperwork for import/export Airfreight * Rating an billing the jobs you handle * Provide support with after-hours calls on occasion * Assist in dispatching trucks to various locations for deliveries * Customer service and ongoing follow up related to delivery times and/or delivery delays. This is primarily via phone and email. Qualities You Bring: * 2+ years working in a fast-paced office * Strong problem-solving ability * Solid interpersonal skills * Forklift Experience is an asset * Highly organized and able to juggle many plates. This is a fast-moving role that requires organizational skills and grace under pressure * The ability to manage and organize large amounts of paperwork * Experience within the transportation industry is very helpful as well Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour Experience: Office experience: 1 year (preferred)
