Operational Buyer III | Buyer – Direct Level II

We are looking for an experienced Operational Buyer to support procurement operations, supplier management, SAP master data, and day-to-day purchasing activities. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain purchase orders, purchasing records, supplier data, and procurement master data in SAP Monitor supplier performance, delivery dates, quality, and compliance Manage vendor escalations related to late deliveries, PO confirmations, pricing discrepancies, shipping, and fulfillment Support MRP-driven push-outs/pull-ins and expedite deliveries based on production requirements Resolve invoice and Accounts Payable inquiries Manage vendor returns, replacements, and cost recovery Conduct open-order reviews with suppliers Support supplier onboarding and approval of new raw materials/vendors Support competitive bidding and low-value supplier negotiations Work closely with MRP Planners, Supply Planners, Schedulers, Strategic Buyers, Category Managers, AP, and Warehouse teams Use procurement data to create reports and support data-driven decisions 🔹 Ideal Background 5+ years of operational procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience Hands-on experience with SAP ERP / SAP MM Experience purchasing direct/raw materials Strong knowledge of PR-to-PO processes and MRP Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; BI/reporting experience is a plus Experience managing suppliers, vendor escalations, negotiations, and delivery issues Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Procurement/Supply Chain degree is preferred but not required. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
