Operation Manager for Injection Molding Company

Job Overview The Operations Manager will lead daily manufacturing operations at an injection molding facility, coordinating production, assembly, quality control, and supply chain activity. You’ll turn production plans into clear schedules, support teams in resolving issues, and use operational data to guide decisions. Your impact: Effective production planning and process improvement help teams deliver consistent, quality products while supporting dependable supply for customers. Duties Lead production management, plant management, and team leadership across manufacturing and assembly operations. Coordinate production scheduling and planning with material requirements planning (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and supply chain teams. Monitor quality control, production performance, and supply chain analytics; use Microsoft Excel data analysis and production management systems to identify issues and opportunities. Drive continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing, Lean management, and Six Sigma methods; implement practical process improvements. Communicate across functions, including production, quality, and supply chain, to align priorities and support safe, efficient operations. Qualifications Experience in operations management, manufacturing management, production management, or a related manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of production scheduling, production planning, supply chain management, and production management systems. Understanding of quality control and continuous improvement; experience applying Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma is preferred. Strong team leadership and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to organize work and respond to changing production needs.
