Operation and Maintenance Technician - Warehouse

Job Summary: Perform all phases of Operations and Maintenance as directed by the Warehouse Lead. Job Responsibilities: Keep tools and warehouse equipment owned by the district in clean condition and good repair. Report all injuries and accidents directly to Warehouse Lead, O&M secretaries, or Director of Grounds and Warehouse. Assist with delivery and movement of school equipment. Follow all established procedures relating to material handling and distribution within the district. Maintain all work orders and inventory records in an accurate manner. Handle Purchase Orders and Stock Requisitions in an efficient and accurate manner. Routinely notify the Warehouse Lead of any damage, discrepancies, or other irregularities found on shipments received. Inventory supplies and equipment when directed to do so by the Warehouse Lead. Operate all equipment in a safe manner. Accountable for minor maintenance, daily safety inspection, and cleanliness of vehicles. Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse. Snow removal. Have knowledge of small machines, repair, and maintenance. Must obtain and keep a valid class C or higher driver’s license. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel materials. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
