About us Bin There Dump That Salt Lake is a leading dumpster rental service company serving the Utah area. We specialize in providing Friendly Residential Dumpsters , meaning we not only place driveway-protecting dumpsters, but we also sweep up the debris pile immediately around the dumpster upon pickup. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, conscientious, and customer-focused driver to join our team. This is a seasonal, part-time position with peak workload between 20 hours per week during busy months. Start Time: Between 7:00am-7:30am (depending on delivery routes) End Time: No overnights required; landfills close at 5:00pm Anticipated Start Date: October 12 or sooner Note: CDL NOT REQUIRED to drive for us! Training will be provided. First 15 working days starting rate at $14.00 per hour due to online company orientation and in-person driver training. Key Responsibilities Deliver and pick up 4, 10, 14, and 20 cubic yard dumpsters for construction and household debris removal Provide professional and friendly service to customers Ensure safe placement and retrieval of dumpsters using protection boards Sweep around dumpster area upon pickup Terms of Employment Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (winter months may be less) Seasonal: Slow season is November to February Uniform: Company uniform and steel toe shoes required Conduct: No drinking, smoking, or vaping during work hours or in company vehicles; violations will result in termination Documentation: Must have legal documentation to work in the United States Compensation Starting Rate: $14.00 per hour for the first 15 work days (training period including online company orientation and in-person driver training) Note: CDL not required for this position. Training provided. Licensing/Certification CDL: Not required DOT Medical Card: Must have a valid commercial DOT medical card prior to hire (approximate cost $70–$80 if you do not have one) Qualifications ✅ Minimum 25 years of age with a clean driving record ✅ Professional attitude and appearance ✅ Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently to represent the company, read traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete required reports ✅ Physically able to perform job duties (lifting, bending, securing dumpster tarps, etc.) ✅ Familiarity with local neighborhoods and areas ✅ Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferred ✅ Comfort using a smartphone ; jobs are dispatched via the Bin Tracker app on a mobile browser ✅ Successful completion of a criminal history background check and MVR screening How-To Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8gl5RX-cGs&t=2s Qualifications: * Must be at least 25 years of age or older, with clean driving record. * Professional attitude and appearance a must. * Must be able to speak, read, and write English well enough to represent company in a professional manner, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records. * Ability to perform physical requirements of the position. * Some commercial vehicle operation experience preferable. * Must have good understanding of local area and neighborhoods. * On-boarding requires Criminal History Background check; MVR record screening also performed.
