On-Call Courier Driver – Part-Time

Overview As an On-Call Courier Driver – Part-Time, you’ll help keep deliveries moving by transporting orders safely and reliably between warehouse locations and customers. Assignments may involve a company van or box truck, or delivery using a personal vehicle, depending on the route and business needs. This on-call role requires flexibility to accept delivery assignments as they arise. Your impact: Careful handling and timely delivery help customers receive their orders in good condition and keep warehouse operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes and follow traffic regulations, delivery instructions, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Load and unload shipments; use safe lifting practices when moving and handling materials, including heavy items. Operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment when needed and authorized. Use mobile devices to review route details, record delivery status, and communicate updates. Provide courteous customer service and report delivery, vehicle, or shipment issues promptly. Experience Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or other delivery driving experience is preferred; commercial driving and commercial truck driving experience are helpful. Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, load and unload procedures, and material handling equipment are preferred. Ability to drive a van or box truck, or make deliveries in a personal vehicle as assigned; manual transmission experience is a plus. Able to perform manual handling, moving, and workplace weight-handling tasks using safe lifting practices. Demonstrated safe driving habits, route driving skills, and knowledge of traffic regulations; familiarity with DOT requirements is an advantage. Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
