OMS Architect (KIBO OMS & IBM Sterling OMS) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced OMS Architect with strong expertise in KIBO OMS and/or IBM Sterling OMS . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience architecting and leading Order Management solutions across Retail and eCommerce ecosystems, with deep knowledge of order orchestration, routing, fulfillment, inventory visibility, and omnichannel commerce. Key Responsibilities Architect and lead end-to-end implementations of KIBO OMS and/or IBM Sterling OMS . Design scalable Order Management solutions covering order capture, sourcing, routing, fulfillment, returns, exchanges, cancellations, refunds, and tracking. Define and configure advanced Order Routing and Distributed Order Management (DOM) strategies. Customize and extend KIBO Fulfiller Module , Store Associate App , and Sterling OMS workflows based on business requirements. Design and oversee integrations with eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, payment gateways, inventory systems, WMS, and logistics providers. Implement and support omnichannel fulfillment capabilities including BOPIS , Ship-from-Store , Click & Collect , and Endless Aisle . Integrate payment adapters such as PayPal, Adyen, Apple Pay, Google Pay , and other payment providers. Design and support integrations with 3PL providers for shipping, delivery tracking, and fulfillment visibility. Conduct architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical workshops. Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams. Support performance tuning, testing, deployment, and production support activities. Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong OMS implementation experience. Minimum 2 full-cycle KIBO OMS and/or IBM Sterling OMS implementations . Strong expertise in: Order Routing & Sourcing Distributed Order Management (DOM) Inventory Visibility Fulfillment Management Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Order Tracking & Modifications Hands-on experience with: KIBO OMS IBM Sterling OMS KIBO Fulfiller Module KIBO Store Associate App Experience integrating OMS with: SFCC Shopify BigCommerce Magento/Adobe Commerce ERP, WMS, and CRM platforms Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, JavaScript, and Integration Architecture. Experience working with Payment Gateways and 3PL integrations. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and solution design skills. Preferred Qualifications Retail, eCommerce, and Omnichannel Commerce experience. Experience with Inventory Management and Supply Chain systems. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience working in Agile environments. Certifications (Preferred) KIBO OMS Certification IBM Sterling OMS Certification Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Avenel, NJ 07001
