Kern Asphalt Paving & Sealing Co., Inc.OIL TRUCK DRIVER Kern Asphalt Paving & Sealing is seeking an experienced Oil Truck Driver to join our crew. Job Duties Safely operate an asphalt distributor/oil truck on paving and construction projects Apply tack oil and asphalt emulsion according to project requirements Properly set and adjust spray bars, nozzles, application rates, and truck controls Load, transport, and distribute asphalt emulsions and related materials Work closely with paving crews to ensure proper and consistent application Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain truck, spray system, hoses, pumps, and related equipment Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety requirements Assist the paving crew as needed when not operating the truck Qualifications Valid Class A required Clean and acceptable driving record Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required Previous experience operating an asphalt distributor/oil truck preferred Knowledge of tack oil, asphalt emulsion, spray systems, and paving operations preferred Ability to safely operate around paving equipment and active construction sites Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a crew Ability to work early mornings, overtime, and varying schedules as needed Must be able to perform physical duties associated with construction work We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Benefits 401(k) Full-time employment Opportunity to work with an established local paving company Experienced oil truck/distributor operators are encouraged to apply.
