Job Summary Join our dynamic Office-Ordering Department, where you'll play a vital role in streamlining procurement, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies across our organization. Responsibilities Manage purchase orders using SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, and other procurement systems to ensure timely fulfillment of departmental needs Coordinate with vendors through direct negotiation and communication to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms Oversee inventory management processes, including inventory control, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination to optimize supply chain flow Support sourcing activities by evaluating supplier performance, conducting vendor relationship management, and maintaining accurate records in spreadsheets and accounting software Collaborate with production planning teams to align procurement schedules with manufacturing requirements using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems Monitor procurement data through Excel data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing strategies Assist in contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and effective vendor negotiation practices Requirements Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, or Oracle EBS in a materials management or procurement capacity Strong understanding of supply chain management principles including logistics, inventory control, sourcing, and pricing strategies Familiarity with purchasing management systems supported technically within an organization Excellent vendor communication skills coupled with negotiation expertise to build lasting vendor relationships Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), including data analysis for procurement insights and reporting purposes Knowledge of accounting software related to procurement transactions and vendor invoicing processes Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Prior experience supporting logistics operations or production planning is highly desirable Join us in driving operational excellence through innovative procurement practices!
