Liddane Tutoring & Learning ServicesOffice Manager – Green Lake Location: Green Lake, Seattle, WA Reports to: Associate Director of Programming Classification: Part-Time Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week Compensation: 25–35 per hour, depending on experience About Liddane Tutoring At LTLS, we are educators first. Every member of our tutoring team holds at least a bachelor’s degree and brings a background in teaching or tutoring. We are unique because we approach education through "three tool belts": teaching specific subject matter, understanding executive function (EF) skills, and supporting students with learning differences like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. We believe in "scaffolding" rather than just teaching; we meet students where they are to lower the barriers to getting things done. Our culture is one of continuous growth, where tutors are mentored monthly to refine their skills and build "muscle memory" for success alongside their students. The Role We are seeking a dedicated, "Handy Mandy," and proactive Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Green Lake facility. This individual will be the steward of our physical space, ensuring it remains a direct reflection of the LTLS brand—tidy, welcoming, and fully functional. This position is ideal for: Current or Prospective Tutors: Individuals who want to deepen their involvement with the LTLS team. Early-Career Professionals: Those looking for a warm, inclusive environment to "learn how to be an employee" and understand the mechanics of general business operations. Experienced Professionals: Individuals with previous office management or education experience who are looking to bring their organizational and interpersonal skills to an educational environment. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Monitor, purchase, and restock essential supplies including pencils, paper, stickers, and our signature Smarties for clients. Facility Maintenance: Ensure the site is tidy and professional. This includes taking out the trash, washing reusable towels, monitoring printer functionality, and reporting any technical or structural issues (like a faulty doorknob or sink) to the leadership team. Site Security: Responsible for the locking and unlocking of the facility as needed, including opening doors for clients, screening visitors and deliveries, and offering customer service. Manage office security systems and keys. Serve as a point of contact for tutors when they can’t properly access the building. Tutor Support: Conduct office tours for new hires, be a liaison between clients and their tutors, and serve as a point of contact for staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to protocols. Brand Stewardship: Take initiative when anything seems out of place to ensure the environment meets our high standards for student and family experiences. Boots on the Ground: Act as the primary point of contact for immediate facility needs and communicate directly with the leadership team. Who You Are A Detailed Architect: You notice the small things. Whether it's a silent printer flashing an error message or a sign that looks off-centered, nothing gets past you. A Strong Communicator: Your written communication is professional, warm, and concise. You know how to nudge busy tutors for information without being a nuisance. Tech-Savvy: You have a desire to learn more about technology and are interested in using new tools to make the work easier or more efficient. Self-Disciplined: You love the freedom of a task-oriented position and have the organizational skills to stay productive without a 9-to-5 structure. A Problem Solver: You don’t just report problems; you predict them. You can see when an issue may arise and suggest a solution before it becomes a bigger deal. Qualifications & Skills No prior professional background required: We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who are eager to learn. Office Management or Education Experience: Previous experien…
