Join Richard's Custom Jewelers as our Office Manager and become the operational hub that keeps our busy custom and retail jewelry store organized, efficient, and running smoothly. You will have the opportunity to: Oversee day-to-day office and store operations, creating organization and structure in a busy, fast-paced environment. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll administration, PTO tracking, and employee records. Maintain organized digital records and document storage systems. Oversee daily cash management and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. Manage accounts payable for vendors and service providers, including invoice processing and payment coordination. Administer and support the store's Point of Sale (POS) and management software systems. Coordinate inventory management and help maintain accurate records for high-value merchandise. Manage consignments, including documenting, tracking, and monitoring consigned jewelry. Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective and existing customers. Assist customers and support the sales team on the showroom floor as needed. Work directly with insurance companies regarding jewelry repair and replacement claims. Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and workflow throughout the business. Manage multiple competing priorities while anticipating needs and solving problems as they arise. Foster an environment of hospitality, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional service for both our customers and fellow employees. We ask that you bring: Experience in office management, business operations, accounting administration, retail management, or a related role. Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Experience with accounts payable, transaction reconciliation, cash management, or similar financial responsibilities. Experience with payroll, employee records, and basic HR administration preferred. Comfort working with Point of Sale systems and other business management software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A hospitality-focused mindset and genuine desire to provide outstanding service to customers and coworkers. The ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized in a fast-paced and, at times, chaotic environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to address issues without waiting to be asked. Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential employee, customer, and financial information. A flexible, team-oriented attitude and willingness to step in wherever help is needed. Experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or another high-value retail environment is helpful but not required. Working Conditions This is a full-time, onsite position at Richard's Custom Jewelers in Hurst, Texas. The position works in an active retail and custom jewelry environment and requires regular interaction with customers, employees, vendors, and service providers. Schedule flexibility may be required during busy retail periods, special events, or other business needs.
