Office Associate – Japanese Food Import/Wholesale (Richmond, BC) Starting at $43,680.00+ Full Benefits Location: Richmond, BC (Hybrid office & warehouse – some local driving) Employment Type: Full-time In Person Salary: $43,680.00 (starting amount based on experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) Who We’re Looking For Reliable, organized team player to help keep our Japanese food import/wholesale operation running smoothly in Richmond. What a Typical Day Looks Like Prepare invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents Answer phones, coordinate with customers and suppliers Receive shipments, check accuracy, update data in Excel/Google Sheets Assist with scheduling and local deliveries Occasionally drive to customers in the Lower Mainland (Greater Vancouver Area) - Company will either provide a company vehicle (if not already in use) or covers gas expense and provides car allowances Light warehouse work: using pallet jacks, hand trucks, lifting boxes up to 50 lbs / 23 kg What You Need to Succeed 1–2 years of office, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or operations experience (food industry is a bonus but not required) Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas, sorting, VLOOKUP is preferred) Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) and clean driving record and a reliable personal vehicle Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly Fluent English (spoken and written); Cantonese or Mandarin is a big asset Positive attitude and strong teamwork – we’re a small, friendly team What We Offer You Starting $43,680.00/year with regular reviews Full extended health, dental, vision, life insurance (covers you + spouse/dependents after 3-month probation) Paid overtime when occasionally required Stable, 30-year Canadian-owned company still growing Clean, organized workplace About Tokushin Enterprises Ltd.
