General Function:
Responsible to provide office administration and warehouse support to the Calgary regional office.
Responsibilities:
- Phone answering service support.
- Shipment creation/tracking for smaller domestic packages.
- Courier preparation, seals and shipment.
- General filing and organizing of files/records retention (digital and hard copy).
- Data entry/formatting, pdf bundling.
- Hotel, flight, car bookings and assistance for field staff as required.
- Ordering of office, safety, kitchen and meeting specific supplies as required.
- Opening of mail and delivery to necessary stakeholders for approval.
- Managing office cleaners and other maintenance subcontractors as directed.
- General office maintenance support as required.
- General tidying of office and kitchen areas.
- Binding, laminating, compiling/organizing documents as required.
- Assist with new hire orientation and interview and employee setup as required.
- Assist with employee offboarding as required.
- Invoicing for projects on an as needed basis.
- AR and AP follow-up as required.
- Company card receipt collection with monthly coding.
- Assist with booking in-class safety and technical courses.
Warehouse Administration:
- Control warehouse inventory, keep accurate record of all stock (in/out).
- Load/Unload materials as required.
- Confirm accuracy and quality of shipments against the bill of lading.
- Pick materials for received picking slips and move materials to staging area.
- Appropriately pack materials for shipment.
- Maintain internal record-keeping system (scan and save all paperwork).
- Booking and tracking of shipments.
- Operate forklift.
- Know safe storage, handling and proper shipping procedures of various chemicals and materials.
- Work with other technical staff in a supportive and positive manner.
- Complete tasks to Corrosion Service’s Quality Management System
- Develop the culture of employee’s attitudes towards work and each other.
- Maintain a business casual dress code (business formal upon request).
General:

Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to work and keep busy with limited direction.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Pronto system experience an asset.
