Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and safety-conscious Off-Road Dump Truck Driver to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks on off-road construction sites, transporting materials efficiently while adhering to strict safety standards. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and construction utility work will help keep projects moving smoothly and safely. Duties Operate off-road dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and aggregates across construction sites Conduct pre-operation inspections of trucks to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance Maintain accurate logs of loads delivered and mileage traveled in accordance with federal construction safety regulations Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs on dump trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal performance Follow all equipment safety procedures and construction site safety regulations at all times Support other heavy machinery operations like loader, excavator, backhoe, or Caterpillar equipment as needed for excavation or grading tasks Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks, especially off-road dump trucks in a construction environment. 2-4 years experience highly preferred Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Construction site experience with grading or general excavation work is highly desirable Ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations while maintaining high productivity standards Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to sit for long periods of time Must have a clean driving record to operate company equipment Must follow all safety protocols and safe driver expectations Physical Demands and Working Conditions: This position requires daily outdoor work in various weather conditions, and exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and loud noises. Must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, walk, stand, climb, crawl, and may handle objects up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis with or without assistance.
