ficient coordination of shipments. The Account Manager will work closely with clients and vendors to negotiate pricing, monitor shipment schedules, and ensure that deliveries are completed on time. The position also involves preparing client quotes, processing sales orders, and maintaining strong communication with customers throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage ocean import shipments for the Transpacific region
• Supervise staff involved in ocean import operations
• Negotiate pricing and coordinate shipment delivery schedules
• Track and monitor orders to ensure deliveries occur as scheduled
• Expedite shipments and resolve delivery delays when necessary
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and operational records
• Communicate shipment updates and operational information to clients
• Prepare pricing quotes for customers
• Process sales orders and coordinate shipment logistics
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Freight Forwarder Ocean Import Transpacific operations
• Strong knowledge of ocean import logistics and freight forwarding processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using CargoWise logistics software
