• Enter shipment data accurately into company systems
• Monitor and trace import files daily
• Prepare and distribute import documentation to customers and customs brokers
• Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers and vendors
• Communicate with customers, shipping lines, trucking companies, warehouses, and brokers
• Maintain compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates
• Follow established operating procedures and meet departmental KPIs
• Escalate shipment issues when necessary and assist in resolving operational challenges
Qualifications:
• 6 months to 1 year of logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or related experience
• Ocean import experience or knowledge of import documentation is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
