NVOCC Qualifying Individual & Company Officer A U.S. freight forwarder applying for an FMC NVOCC license is seeking an experienced ocean transportation professional to serve as its Qualifying Individual (QI) and a company officer . The role may be full-time or part-time and in-person or remote within the United States . Requirements At least 3 years of U.S. ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) experience , such as NVOCC or other OTI work performed in the United States Documentation of relevant experience Three references familiar with your OTI work Willingness to serve as a company officer Not currently serving as the QI for another FMC licensee, or willingness to resign from that role Willingness to sign a three-year contract
