NVOCC Import Specialist – Korean/English Bilingual

Job Title: NVOCC Import Specialist – Korean/English Bilingual Job Summary CNR International Inc. is looking for an experienced NVOCC Import Specialist who is fluent in Korean and English. The right candidate will have at least five years of experience handling ocean import shipments and coordinating with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and warehouses. Duties - Manage ocean import shipments from arrival through final delivery. - Track vessel arrivals, container availability, customs clearance, and delivery schedules. - Prepare and review arrival notices, delivery orders, bills of lading, and other import documents. - Coordinate with steamship lines, NVOCCs, customs brokers, truckers, warehouses, and overseas agents. - Monitor free time, last-free-day dates, demurrage, detention, and other shipment deadlines. - Communicate shipment updates and resolve delays or documentation issues. - Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems. - Communicate professionally in Korean and English with customers and business partners. Requirements - At least **5 years of NVOCC, ocean import, or freight-forwarding experience**. - Fluent in **Korean and English**, both spoken and written. - Knowledge of ocean import documentation, container tracking, and delivery coordination. - Strong organization, follow-up, and customer service skills. - Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines accurately. - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Preferred qualifications - Experience with a transportation management system, freight-forwarding software, or warehouse management system. - Experience coordinating with U.S. ports, trucking companies, and warehouses. - Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and import terminology. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
