To learn more about Book Depot Inc., We are hiring permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Warehouse Associates at our Thorold Distribution Centre . Working shifts (5 shifts per week, with the ability to work Saturdays) as assigned, arriving on time and ready to work restock, sorting, shipping) Carrying out book handling tasks that require all-shift standing and repetitive movements including bending, squatting, and lifting Upholding safe and Lean work procedures in accordance with Book Depot Inc.’Maintaining Book Depot Inc.’Using our warehouse management computer software to ensure the accuracy of our inventory and/or customer orders Experience working in a warehouse is an asset Comfort using computers for basic tasks Basic English communication skills (oral and written) Strong attention to detail, identifying and sharing continuous improvement opportunities Our full-time opportunities include great perks such as health and dental benefits and an Employee and Family Assistance Program with 100% employer-paid premiums after the fulfillment of a waiting period, and paid time off to volunteer and live out our core purpose.
