We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional with 6+ years of sit-down forklift operating experience . POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for a long-term opportunity in City of Commerce, CA . The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse experience and be able to independently manage inventory, operate a sit-down forklift, unload containers, organize warehouse space, and prepare orders for shipment. This position involves daily incoming shipments, rack and floor storage, inventory transfers, purchase orders, and outbound shipments to retail customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently Unload containers and receive incoming freight Load and unload LTL/TL carriers Organize and stock inventory based on incoming shipments Optimize warehouse space while maintaining safety and accessibility Manage rack and floor storage systems Coordinate inventory transfers between nearby warehouse locations Prepare and stage orders for outbound shipments Accurately fulfill purchase orders for retail customers Palletize products according to shipping requirements Label products and shipments according to retailer standards Maintain an organized and safe warehouse Follow all company safety procedures and policies REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Please apply only if you meet the following requirements: 6+ years of sit-down forklift operating experience Strong warehouse and inventory organization experience Experience unloading containers and handling incoming freight Experience loading and unloading LTL/TL carriers Experience with rack and floor storage systems Ability to efficiently organize warehouse space Experience preparing and staging outbound orders Fluent English – written and spoken – REQUIRED Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to perform physical warehouse duties safely High school diploma or equivalent preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Transportation will be provided to and from the nearby location when needed.
