SUNSET LOGISTICSPosition Overview Sunset Logistics & Materials is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Part-Time CDL-A Truck Driver to support our hauling and materials operations. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a commitment to safe driving practices, and the flexibility to work a part-time schedule as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks to transport aggregate, construction materials, waste, and other approved loads. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Comply with all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and applicable traffic laws. Secure loads and ensure materials are transported safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate delivery tickets, driver logs, and required paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel. Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to meet applicable DOT physical and drug-testing requirements. Knowledge of safe truck operation and DOT regulations. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
