Anson Family FarmsJob Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, while ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation. Load and unload freight as required, utilizing forklifts or manual methods when necessary. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks is preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
