NOW HIRING: CLASS B CDL DUMP TRUCK DRIVER Location: Orlando, FL & Surrounding Central Florida Areas Reporting Location: Orlando, FL Pay: $26.00 per hour | Paid Weekly Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift Employment Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor Equipment: Company-Provided Dump Truck Job Description We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Class B CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience , a valid Class B CDL or higher, and a current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card). Previous dump truck operation and asphalt hauling experience are highly preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a company-provided dump truck to transport asphalt, gravel, dirt, sand, and other construction materials. Haul materials between asphalt plants, construction sites, and roadway paving projects. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow applicable DOT regulations, traffic laws, and job-site safety procedures. Safely maneuver, position, and unload materials at construction sites. Maintain accurate delivery tickets, load records, and required documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, supervisors, and construction crews. Report mechanical problems, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptly. Required Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or higher. Current, valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card). Minimum one year of verifiable commercial driving experience. Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR). Ability to meet all applicable DOT/FMCSA safety and drug-testing requirements. Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, and unloading procedures. Dependable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices. Ability to work full-time day shifts, including early morning starts when required. Ability to report to the Orlando location. Comfortable driving a manual or automatic. Preferred Qualifications Previous dump truck driving experience. Asphalt hauling or paving operations experience. Experience operating tandem or tri-axle dump trucks. Familiarity with Central Florida construction sites, asphalt plants, and roadways.
