North American Trailer - 1st Shift Dispatcher

This position is responsible for coordinating daily service operations, scheduling and organizing technician workloads, assisting with parts and repair needs, and ensuring efficient communication between technicians, customers, and management. Additional responsibilities include coordinating parts and vehicle pickups, supporting customer repair estimates and updates, maintaining service truck organization, and assisting with general shop operations. Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Job Duties: Assisting mechanics in locating parts / job related issues Scheduling shift work Provide leadership and direction to the technicians Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed. Calling in customer repairs, estimating, approvals and unit updates Organizing shift with picking up parts and vehicles for repair Invoice repair orders in a timely manner Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization. The essential duties include: Pick up and delivery of customers vehicles Towing heavy duty trucks & trailer. Parts picks up, assisting techs in shop, maintain a clean shop, clean customer vehicles. Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements. Compile inspection reports detailing their findings Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
