Benefits: Company car Competitive salary Training & development NEMT Driver — Waynesboro / Fishersville / Staunton, VA PROLUX MEDICAL TRANSPORT LLC About the Role PROLUX MEDICAL TRANSPORT LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and safety-conscious Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our growing team serving Waynesboro, Fishersville, Staunton, and surrounding areas. As an NEMT Driver, you will help patients safely travel to and from medical appointments while providing respectful, professional, and reliable service. The ideal candidate is punctual, communicates effectively, and understands the importance of patient safety and dignity. Responsibilities Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, therapy sessions, and healthcare facilities. Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle within the physical requirements of the position. Properly secure wheelchairs and mobility devices when operating wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, safe vehicle. Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, cancellations, vehicle issues, and trip updates. Follow traffic laws, HIPAA privacy requirements, company policies, and applicable transportation program guidelines. Use GPS navigation, smartphones, and transportation applications to manage scheduled trips. Provide courteous, patient-centered service to elderly, disabled, and medically vulnerable passengers. Requirements Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to company and insurance requirements. Must meet applicable age, background check, drug screening, and driver credentialing requirements. Strong punctuality, reliability, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to use smartphones, GPS navigation, and transportation applications. Ability to complete required safety training and follow passenger assistance and vehicle securement procedures. CPR and First Aid certification, if required for the assigned position or transportation program. Previous experience in transportation, healthcare, caregiving, or customer service is preferred but not required. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
