Role Description This full-time, on-site Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver role is based in Mandan, ND. The driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, clinics, and other approved destinations, following all traffic laws and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include assisting clients with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed, securing mobility aids or equipment, and ensuring riders are comfortable throughout the trip. The driver will maintain clean, well-kept vehicles, complete trip logs and documentation accurately, and communicate professionally with dispatch, healthcare staff, and clients. The role may involve working varied schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, depending on client needs. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and strong familiarity with Mandan, ND and surrounding areas. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic and safety regulations. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in completing routes and documentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset and ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations. Physical ability to assist clients with limited mobility, including helping with vehicle entry/exit and securing wheelchairs or other devices. Basic knowledge of non-emergency medical transportation procedures and willingness to follow company training and protocols. Ability to handle confidential client information in accordance with privacy and confidentiality standards. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in transportation, healthcare support, or caregiving is a plus. Willingness to undergo background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and any required drug screening. Comfort with using smartphones or tablets for route management, scheduling, and trip documentation.
