Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview ATN is seeking dependable, professional, and compassionate drivers to provide safe, reliable, and courteous non-emergency medical transportation services to individuals who need assistance getting to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations. ATN drivers play an important role in ensuring passengers receive dependable transportation while maintaining their dignity, safety, comfort, and independence. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, customer-service oriented, and committed to providing quality transportation services to individuals with varying mobility and transportation needs Responsibilities ● Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments. Follow planned routes and use GPS navigation to adapt to road conditions and requirements. Safely transport passengers to and from scheduled medical appointments. Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles when needed and within approved training and safety guidelines. Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles when assigned. Maintain professional and respectful communication with passengers, caregivers, facilities, and ATN staff. Ensure passengers are properly secured before operating the vehicle. Keep vehicles clean, sanitized, and presentable. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required transportation documentation. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Preferred Skills ● Previous NEMT, paratransit, or passenger transportation experience. ● CPR and First Aid certification. ● Wheelchair securement and passenger assistance training. ● Experience working with seniors and individuals with disabilities. ● Knowledge of the Chicagoland area. Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
