Duties Safely operate various vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and commercial vans to transport clients to scheduled appointments or destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout the trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to ensure timely arrivals. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare providers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage while maintaining safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs. Qualifications Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service preferred. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver license or commercial driver’s license). Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clients. Knowledge of paratransit services and familiarity with heavy lifting techniques for assisting passengers or equipment. Experience in driving school buses or heavy-duty vehicles is a plus. Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and basic repairs as needed. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
