Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vehicles MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE. Assist clients with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring their comfort during transit. Maintain adherence to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, adjusting as needed for traffic or road conditions. Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Communicate effectively with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates on arrival times, and address any special needs or concerns. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AND WORK EARLY MORNINGS AS EARLY AS 5AM AND PASS BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST . Qualifications Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles is highly desirable. Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles. Strong knowledge of local driving routes, GPS navigation tools, and traffic regulations. Experience with medical transportation services or paratransit operations is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds. Ability to perform light to heavy manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and the importance of adhering to safety standards set by state transportation authorities.
