Driver stations in Sandpoint — morning pickups start up north, and midday downtime is Sandpoint-based. Job Type: 3-5 days a week (Part time / fill-in backup) Schedule: Monday–Friday, split shift Pay: $120 per day (bi-weekly direct deposit) About the Role Rocky Mountain Transportation is hiring a dependable driver to transport clients—primarily individuals with special needs—to and from their medical appointments. What You'll Do • Safely transport clients to special needs facilities, plus medical appointments such as physical therapy, dialysis, behavioral health, and rehabilitation centers • Provide assistance getting in and out of vehicles when needed • Follow routes, traffic laws, and maintain on-time schedules • Keep your assigned vehicle fueled and clean (company car + gas card provided) • Communicate respectfully and provide excellent customer service Schedule • Morning: Pick up clients from the Priest River / Priest Lake area and drop them off at their appointments on time. • Midday: You'll be on-call for any additional transport needs. You may return home or remain nearby, as long as you are available if a trip comes up. • Afternoon: Return for afternoon pickups and transport clients home. Your shift ends after the final drop-off. Requirements • Age 25+ with valid driver's license and clean driving record • Able to pass background check and drug screen • Smartphone required for company app (check-ins, directions) • Prior experience in healthcare or transportation is helpful but not required • Strong reliability and communication skills We ask for a minimum 3-month commitment so our clients can count on consistent, familiar drivers.
