Job Position: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver Job Title: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation driver Department: Patient Transport Services Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time ⸻ Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring passengers arrive safely and on time. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Safely transport patients to scheduled medical appointments and healthcare facilities Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair support when needed Maintain a professional, respectful, and caring attitude toward patients Follow assigned routes, schedules, and company transportation procedures Ensure vehicle cleanliness, safety, and routine inspections Complete trip logs, documentation, and daily reports accurately Comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards and patient privacy policies Communicate effectively with dispatch, patients, and healthcare providers ⸻ Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Previous driving or transportation experience preferred Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs( Wheelchair, walks) Strong communication and customer service skills ⸻ Skills & Competencies Safe driving practices Patience and compassion Dependability and punctuality Attention to detail Knowledge of local roads and GPS navigation ⸻ Work Environment Drivers may work with elderly, disabled, or medically fragile passengers in a supportive and service-focused environment If interested call or text: 269-615-3566 Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
